Background
Common Mechanism of Injury: Fall on a hyperextended wrist and a pronated and radially deviated hand.

Diagnosis
H&P
Presentation: Pain in the anatomic snuffbox.
X-rays: PA, lateral oblique, and ulnar deviated views. NB: XR can miss nondisplaced fractures. As such, if a fx is suspected and the first XR doesnt show a fracture, treat the patient as if they had a fracture until you can rule out the fracture by either advancing imaging or repeating the XR in 7 days.
