Recurrent Clostridium Difficile (Fecal Transplant)

Patient with 5 episodes of C. Diff in the last two years.

Been treated with both Vancomycin and Metronizadole in the past.

Currently on Fidaxomycin. Last dose at 2200 yesterday. Patient is transferred from an outside facility for fecal transplant.

Currently having > 12 BMs per day. No N/V.

***Fecal transplant is done during a colonoscopy. Patient has to be off antibiotics for 48 hours prior to the fecal transplant.

Consult GI. Hold antibiotics. Prepare patient for colonoscopy.
