-Consult urology to biopsy.
-Pathology report shows Adenocarcinoma of the prostate.
-Gleason score is: X + X
Treatment:
-Antiandrogen therapy: Bicalutamide (Casodex) 50mg PO daily, started by urology.
-Medical oncology consulted. They will initiate Leuprolide (Lupron) in one week. 1 mg SC QD.
-F/u scheduled with medical oncology.

Bicalutamide MOA: Binds and inhibits androgen receptors.
