Term neonate (0 to 28 days) : < 60 mm Hg
Infants (1 to 12 months) < 70
Children 1 to 10 years (5th percentile for BP) < 70 + ( 2 x age in years)
Children > 10 years (are like adults) <90
The following formula applies for infants (1 mo to 12 months) and children 1 to 10 years.
Minimum SBP = 70 mmHg + (2 x Age in years)
For infants, the age is considered to be 0 years.
