Hydrocolloid Patch/dressing – Seen that used on a patient with a stage 3 decubitus ulcer and it is almost completely healed.
Dermaseptin – “DermaSeptin Ointment skin cream with zinc oxide and menthol provides a barrier to prevent irritation from moisture and to promote healing. Also contains calamine to help soothe minor skin irritation and dry/manage weeping skin. DermaSeptin is used to treat skin irritations associated with incontinence, feeding tube leaks, wound exudates, perspiration, and minor burns and scrapes.”
Zinc Oxide diaper cream 1-10% topical – Re: Painful rash (used this at CNRC SNF)
Phytoplex – Used a lot at DRMC especially 3 East floor.

- Zinc Oxide 17% (skin protectant)
* A stable eschar (ie, dry, adherent, intact without erythema or fluctuance) on an ischemic limb or the heel(s) should not be removed.
