| Blade Sizes | Description | Uses |
| 10 blade | The 10 blade has a curved cutting edge with an unsharpened back edge. It has a more traditional blade shape. | Generally for making incisions in skin and muscle. Commonly used in to cut the skin in abdominal operations. For circumcision, I prefer a 10 blade. Many circumcision kits come with a blade in it. |
| 11 blade | The 11 blade has a sharp or fine point or tip. | Useful for piercing. |
| 15 blade | The 15 blade is a smaller version of the 10 blade | Has the same general use as the #10 blade |
