-ADPCKD is the most common genetic kidney disease and accounts for 4.7% of ESRD cases in the U.S.
-Many patients with ADPCKD are asymptomatic, but early symptoms may include flank pain, gross hematuria, or recurrent UTIs.
-Hypertension is the most common extrarenal manifestation of ADPCKD.
Treatment
-An ACE-I/ARB are recommended first-line treatment for HTN in these patients.
